If you are a teenager and like the Internet and want a fun game about rockets, it may be a good choice for you. If you like building rockets just get Kerbal Space Program which is extremely better than Next Space Rebels. For example one will require you to build a walking robot (that's right on a rocket building game) while there does not seem to be any ground friction in the game so it is probably impossible. Most are uninteresting and some are almost impossible to perform. You'll also be required to complete "challenges" like fly a deer statue for some reason. Ok you put a toaster on top of a rocket, and then on the next one a football, etc. After a while you gain money to purchase more trash item to put on your rocket, the point of this being unknown. Gameplay: The interactions are similar to a Visual Novel, just click around on obvious and straightforward dialog options. There is simply no proudness about seeing your creation fly, absolutely none. It's mostly draw something with a certain equilibrium around the Y axis CoG and go for launch. There is actually little freedom in your design. It is in no way related to anything even remotely realistic. I get that they tried to simplify things but it simply makes no sense. I can wait for the sequel where they send off a nuclear bomb in their backyard. Needless to say that the special effects are horrible but it looks more or less voluntary.
So you'll see people send rockets above populated areas as if it was not such a big deal. Also there are a bunch of videos that resemble actual Youtube videos, they are kind of nice also once again it seems that a 14 years old wrote the dialogs, but the effort was interesting. It becomes annoying after a while and you'll want to skip most of the dialogs and you won't give a damn about the video you'll send to Startube. It's also very unequal, the fact that you "download" parts makes no sense. Story and narration: Well it's ok, kind of childish so as an adult I am not thrilled.
